Taking Commissions!

I decided to take a page out of my latest Artist of teh Moment's book and am now taking commissions to help get myself back into the groove of art! Here are the guidelines:

∙ Pencil/Sketch Line-art Only
∙ 1-2 Characters in a Drawing Limit
∙ Nothing sex related (to an extent.. I can be lenient)
∙ Any characters from comics/manga, anime, webcomics, etc. or Original
∙ Any original characters please make sure to send me some sample art of that specific character.
∙ No BG's, I don't want to spend a lot of time on each drawing

Superbad

I saw Superbad today. It was super AWESOME. XD It had some great moments that made me lol hard and had Arrested Development's George-Michael (Michael Sera)! That alone grants it a watch.

Bully

I picked up Bully the other day because I had a hankering to play it all of a sudden. I'm having a hard time putting it down. Hm? What? I'm supposed to be playing KotOR? OH.. yeah, I'm still playing that. I'm just stuck on a fight right now that I've spent too much time losing to so I'm taking a break from that.

Beast Wars

Finished Beast Wars T_T It was a great series. I'm gonna have to watch Beast Machines just for more (even though Machines is inferior to Wars). Made me wanna search for my old Beast Wars figures (and buy new ones, but they don't really sell them anymore >_<() ). I'm currently hunting them down..

HOKAY! I'm back. No really. I am. I've been pretty busy for a lot of the summer. I was away at camp [as a counselor] in June and July and then rested for a bit, then actually DREW something (Shippadow) and then watched the ENTIRE Star Wars series (including the Clone Wars cartoon) in chronological order over a weekend with , then went to visit some family, then came back yesterday. So yeah, lotsa stuff has been happening. I have a lotta stuff to cover, so I hope I can remember it all...

Art Stuffz

I've been dried out in terms of true art for a while, but now I think I'm back. The creation of Shippadow was the great and mighty banner of my return. What will I draw next? .....um......I dunno >.>()...

Oh, and THIS is AWESOME. Yep. "A Beautiful Twilight" was featured in Some of the BEST Zelda Art. I feel oh-so very awesome jawsome right now.

Transformers Movie!

I enjoyed it. I know a lotta people are and will be upset with the fact that the Transformers themselves weren't actually the main characters of the movie as they should've been. Yes, the were worked in as side characters while the humans took the spotlight. However, I still think it was good for the nerd in me and has PLENTY of Robot-on-Robot action. I just wish I could SEE it all a bit better.. stupid Michael Bay.. why does he feel the need to ZOOM IN so close on fight scenes?! Blah. Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, do so.

Oh, and quite promtly a week or so after the movie I went to toysrus and bought an Optimus helmet that I wore for the remaining week at camp XD Pics to come (if I feel like it... which I probably will...).

Bone

I picked up the One-Volume Complete Series of Bone a few weeks ago and have been LOVING it. The series is SO epic. I love it. What they should do now is take it and make it into the most EPIC 2D animated trilogy of all time. I heard that they were in talks several years ago with Nickelodian to make a movie, but Nick wanted to RAPE the whole thing (they wanted to have kids VA the Bones among other things >_<*) so they called it off. This brings me to my next rant...

2D Animated Movies

WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY!? There hasn't been a GOOD 2D movie in, like, FOREVER~!! >_< Disney has just been sucking it up in that department as of late. What with them making all those lame straight-to-dvd sequels (that will apparently end with Little Mermaid 3...). Although it seems that they ARE heading back to their roots soon, but it's to make a new Princess movie. It's really going to be their big excuse to get a black princess out there so they can get the black community off of their back (serves 'em right, though. How is there an ARABIAN princess before a friggin black one?).

Other than that, there aren't any 2D movies planned. Which is really sad because those were awesome. We need more movies like Road to ElDorado (don't know it? then go rent it!!!!).

Star Wars

So and I watched Star Wars and have yet to go over the series as a whole (and I'm sure you're pissed at me about that, ... SORRY.). Just in case you're wondering how this whole Star Wars marathon started, here's a basic rundown:

Beast Wars

So I'm in the second season of the show. I love it now as much as I did as a kid. DAMN this show was good. Seriously, I think it's the best incarnation of the Transformers. EVAR. Period. Exclamation point.

A house on fiyah!

My furnace caught fire last night so it was a bit freaky. The scent of burnt rubber is still in the air and the fumes are killin' me >_<() Half the friggin fire department came to the house when we called them which was actually a little unnecessary since it wasn't a huge fire. Really, at the time, I couldn't figure out WHAT was on fire. There was just this haze and smell all over the place. I'm just glad it wasn't my new PC... I was freaking out for a sec thinking it was since I've had it on ALL WEEK.

Yeah, so my space is a bit messy.. but whuteva! I love my new PC! It has a nice video card, 2MB RAM, 250 GB HD, and Vista. Now lemmie just say right now that Vista is AWESOME and totally doesn't get enough credit. I LOVE the interface on it soooo friggin much. Sure, it rips off Apple, but I hate Apple. XP
This thing runs VERY smoothly and I haven't really had any problems with it. Only thing that bugs me is that I can't get Nintendo WiFi to work with it (I use that USB thingie). However, that fault lies with Nintendo. They were lame and made their little program so that it ONLY works on XP so even 2K users were left in the dust before Vista ever hit the scene. And back in February they said they would make a Vista patch and here we are in June and still nothing... WTF Nintendo?

SSBB News

Speaking of Nintendo, there's some pretty cool news on the SSBB front. Although it REALLY annoys me when they waste an update just posting lame character bios ¬¬() The thing I find the most interesting is the fact that now you can run and jump while you shoot (yeah, I'm a SSBM nerd >.>() )

Ocean's 13

I think it was even better than 12. I just friggin LOVE the Ocean movies. Although with this one it was kinda slow for the first 20 minutes--or rather than slow, it was just not executed as well as it should've been. But once they get down to business, it rawks!

ZOMG SSBB infoz!!

So you all know about the smashbros site being reopened in about 4 for Brawl content. What you may not have known is the fact that the site is going to announce a new character and will possibly give out some new details about the game. Now, I dunno if what I'm about to tell you will be revealed with the site reopening, but trust me when I say it's all true. Who told me? Well it was a little birdy (seriously, I can't tell you...). Anyway!
1. Brawl is going to be on both GCN and Wii
2. A certain blue mascot from a certain company that made a certain system named after a certain first book of a certain Bible will certainly be in the game. Yes. I'm serious. No really. If the olympics game thing didn't convince you then nothing will.
3. (I'm a bit iffy on the details of this one, but...) Clones get their own movesets now.
So yeah, the first 2, totally believe that. The third, I'm not 100% about since the guy was being drowned out by other voices.

My time at Acen!

So and I went to Acen again this year. He went as Phoenix Wright and I went as Officer Dick Gumshoe (and his little sis went as Maya ) and we were awesome. Though the day before, he decided to go as (a pretty good) L from Death Note.... and that pissed me off cuz I wasn't dressed as anything... ¬_¬*

So anyway, we had fun, and I bought crap, and got me a Destiny Gundam model kit for my B-Day that I can't wait to start! I also picked up some awesome swag (I should've bought more.. I'm too stingy with my monies.. I came back with over $100... >.>() ). I got a HUGE Super Mushroom from NewSMB (awesome reading pillow ), a Kirby plushie, a RedvsBlue soundtrack (awesome listening), a Mario figure, a Domo-Kun shirt, and 4 Kirby figurines of different powers that can sit on my fingers!! And now... PIC OF MAH SWAGZ!! [link]

I can't wait for next year XP (hey ! Get online and gimmie those vids!!! I needs some Fanboy Bebop and ReDeath!!)

Spidey 3

Ehhh... it was okay, I guess. But nowhere near the awesomness of Spidey 2 (which IMO is still the best Spidey AND best superhero movie EVAR). I think they just tried to put too much crap into the movie. I mean, we've got 3 villains going on and then there's people crying and then more people crying and all these angsty issues going on while 3 villains are going at it with Spidey. There's just TOO MUCH GOING ON. I was afraid of this since I first found out the details about the villains. But I figured that I would have faith in Sam Raimi--big mistake.

It's all his fault the movie sucked too. He wanted Sandman, but the fans wanted Venom, so he said "OKAY FINE! You can have your Venom, but I get my Sandman too!" And the way the introduced Venom was lame too. It didn't make any sense. He doesn't come back with J.J.'s son from space (and just after they set us up to expect that in Spidey 2 with the introduction of his character! >_<() ). Also, the transition from normal Peter Parker to Venom-induced Parker was done through a rediculous dance scene. I'll admit it was pretty funny, but it was just too damn random and stupid and didn't show how deep of a change Peter goes through with the suit. Oh, and by the way, Venom isn't nearly as much of a badass as he is supposed to be (not Brock, but the actual villain VENOM)

I totally understand the story they were trying to develop, and I guess it worked, but it still wasn't nearly as good as it could've and should've been. Oh, and waaay too much needless drama and crying. I mean seriously. In the second movie, it was well done. In this, it's really just stupid and there's too much.

Overall, it was actually pretty entertaining (awesome fight scenes), but still nowhere near as good as it should've been. I know, the comments I made are mostly negative and then I say this, but really, I just have these conflicting mixed feelings of the movie. Lemmie just say this: You have to see it for yourself if not for just the awesome fights and the few geek-out moments put in there (I geeked out a couple times near the end XP).

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theatres

So. Friggin'. FUNNY. Seriously, if you like the show, then the movie is just the show extended to about an hour and a half. I roffled plenty of times in this movie, and I was ALONE too. It's not one of those movies where it's only funny with friends. It really is just funny by yourself. I mean, it's ATHF!! What's NOT to love about it? It's totally just as kooky as the show and I had such a blast watching it. And now I can't get this one tune out of my head: "I like you booty (But I'm not gay)!"

Super Paper Mario

I need to finish that... and then start playing DMC3... cuz I'm hankering for some serious demon beatdowns with swords and guns...

I gots a R4!!

Now I can play JP games on my DS without importing! wewt! I just found Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack) for DS and it's got an ONLINE MODE (Japanese players are so friggin good @_@() )!! So much friggin fun... I loved Tetris Attack to DEATH as a kid, and I'm sooo glad to have it again. If anyone wants to play me in that, Jump Ultimate Stars, Tetris DS, Pokemon D/P (I shall CRUSH J00!!), Mario Kart, or anything else that's online for DS, bring it on!!! FYI, I own some of the games previously mentioned. I just thought I would mention them too.
